Welcome to the 5th Annual
Hunt 4 Hunger Hunting Event and Banquet!
January 5-8, 2012 This is an adventure aimed to be a fun competition, directed at helping those less fortunate.
The Hunt for Hunger Tournament came about from the love of hunting, the thrill of competition,
and the drive to help others. This is the first of its kind. Let's keep it safe, fair and let's show
others that hunters of all types can truly come together and make a difference!
Tournament Objectives:
- 2 person teams *must participate to win prizes*
- Team members do not have to hunt together. However, transportation of game must not exceed
possession limit of transporter.
- A Tournament scoring system will award points per animal, limits per team and total points added
per team.
- Limits per team will coincide with possession limits for two people.
- Once a team has reached its limit total (maximum points allowed) per species, no more of that
species may be check in for points.
- Animals vs. Furs reflect an equal opportunity point system.
- We have additional categories on entry form for special teams. Both members must be of that
specific category to enter. If you do enter one of these categories, proof will need to be provided.
- You may hunt ANYWHERE you choose, as long as you meet the check-in deadline.
- Top finishing teams will be awarded from highest total points per team. Any ties will be settled the
old-fashioned way...Coin toss or drawing out of a hat!
- There will be a Banquet Sunday at 5:30 pm

100% of meat and monetary fur sales will be given back to our communities!!
There will be a heated bird cleaning station available for your convenience at the check in
location.
This is a competition, but please remember that it should be fun, and with the right frame of mind
for the cause.
If caught cheating you will not be allowed to participate in future tournaments.
We would appreciate all pictures and videos that you would like to share for our website.
Any food donations are welcome.

Proceeds of this tournament will be distributed to the following organizations:
- Salvation Army will receive the game and all canned goods donated
- KSHFH(Kansas Hunters Feeding the Hungry)
- Beau Ardnt Scholarship through Emporia State University
- Food for Students
